How to play Endless Runner
Endless Runner is a one-button reflex game. Your runner moves forward automatically and never stops, and the whole challenge is timing. Crates appear on the ground, and later on, low flying drones show up too. Touch one and the run is over.
To jump, tap anywhere on the game, press the Space bar, the up arrow or W, or use the Jump button on a phone. To duck, hold the Down arrow, S or the on-screen Duck button. Ducking works only while you are on the ground, so you will need to know in advance whether an obstacle needs a jump or a duck. Holding Duck in mid-air makes you drop faster, which helps when a second crate is coming up soon.
Your score is the distance covered, and it grows faster as the runner speeds up. The first obstacles are slow and widely spaced, but within a minute the gaps are tight and you have to jump as late as possible while still clearing the top. Watch the ground ahead rather than your character, and try not to jump too early, because you land sooner than you expect.
Your best distance is saved in this browser. The game pauses if you switch tabs, so a notification will not ruin a run.
Frequently asked questions
How do I jump on a phone?
Tap the game area or the Jump button. Hold the Duck button to slide under drones.
Why did I crash on a drone?
Drones fly at head height, so jumping into one hurts. Duck under them instead and keep the Duck button held until they pass.
Does the game get harder?
Yes. The speed rises steadily and the gaps between obstacles shrink until it becomes very demanding.
