How to play Block Drop
Block Drop is a falling-block puzzle. Shapes made of four squares fall one at a time into a well that is ten squares wide. Slide and rotate each shape so it lands neatly, and when a horizontal row is completely filled it disappears and everything above it drops down. If the stack reaches the top, the game is over.
On a computer use the left and right arrow keys to move, the up arrow or X to rotate, the down arrow to drop faster and Space for an instant drop. P pauses. On a phone, swipe left or right on the board to move, tap to rotate and swipe down quickly to drop, or use the large buttons under the board. A faint ghost piece shows exactly where the shape will land.
Clearing one row scores 100 points, two rows 300, three rows 500 and four rows at once 800, multiplied by your level. Every ten rows the level goes up and the blocks fall faster. Keep the surface flat, leave a single column open on one side for the long straight piece, and check the next-piece box so you can plan ahead.
Your best score is saved in this browser. It is a great five-minute break that trains planning and quick spatial thinking.
