How to use the Time Zone Meeting Planner

Scheduling a call between Toronto, London and Mumbai, or between a remote team spread across continents, usually means a lot of mental arithmetic and a few mistakes. This planner lines up the hours of every location so the overlap is obvious.

Your own time zone is added automatically. Type a city or an official time zone name such as Asia/Tokyo and press Add for each participant; up to ten can be compared. Choose the meeting date, because daylight saving time changes on different dates around the world and the planner uses your browser’s up-to-date time zone database to get every offset right.

The grid shows each hour of the day in a column, converted for every location. Green cells fall within working hours, amber cells are early morning or evening, and red cells are night. The best slot, where everyone is working or as close as possible, is suggested automatically. Click any column to select it and see the local times listed, ready to paste into an invitation. A small label marks where a location’s date changes.

Set the working day to match your team’s habits. Your list of zones is remembered on this device for next time. All calculations happen in your browser.
