PDF Merger

Join several PDF files into one, in the order you choose, without uploading them.

How to use: Add two or more PDF files, arrange them with the up and down arrows, then press Merge PDFs to download one combined file.

How to use the PDF Merger

Application forms, invoices, chapters and scanned pages often arrive as separate PDFs, but they are much easier to send, print and archive as one file. This merger joins them in seconds and, unlike many online services, never uploads your documents to a server.

Click the box or drag PDF files onto it. Each file appears in the list with its page count and size. Use the arrows to set the order and the cross to remove a file you added by mistake. When at least two files are ready, name the result and press Merge. The combined PDF downloads immediately.

All pages are copied exactly as they are, including text, images, vector graphics and page sizes, so a mix of A4 and Letter pages stays intact. Bookmarks and form fields from the original files may not carry over, which is normal for simple merging.

The tool uses pdf-lib, an open-source PDF library that is included with this website and runs inside your browser. Password-protected PDFs cannot be read until the password is removed. Because everything happens locally, merging is fast even on a slow connection and works offline once the page has loaded.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. The files are read and merged in your browser using an open-source library bundled with this site.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted files usually cannot be combined. Open them with the password and save an unprotected copy first.

Is there a file size limit?

Only your device’s memory. Most phones handle dozens of normal documents comfortably.
